Well, considering how bad I’ve been with my last dessert, Sex in a Pan, I thought I’d give you guys a healthy recipe. I was very naughty with the last dessert. But now you will thank me, for sharing something healthy with you.
I don’t know if you’ve ever had Greek Yogurt, but I am in love with it. It is so thick, and so full of flavor, it almost tastes like sour cream, that’s how thick it is. I just love it! And what’s the best thing to make with a yogurt? Well that’s a fruit parfait. My fruits of choice this time were strawberries and kiwi. Normally these fruit parfaits are made with granola, but granola is full of calories so I decided to go with cornflakes. OK, I’ll be honest, I went with cornflakes, well because I didn’t have granola.
It’s still better for you.
Anyway, this is such a simple parfait to make, and it’s so perfect for breakfast, or even as a snack. Now if you don’t find it’s sweet enough for you, you can add some honey over the yogurt, that’s what my husband is, and he said it was so much better for him. Well he likes sweet things. I ate mine without the honey. So surprise your honey with this delicious breakfast in bed.
