Bechamel Sauce

Well I was making a greek cheese pie and I needed bechamel sauce for it, so I thought I’d post my recipe here, just in case anyone wants to know how to make bechamel sauce. It’s very simple and it really only took me about 10 minutes to make. There are many dishes where you can use bechamel sauce.

Start off by melting the butter in a sauce pan.

You’ll also need 3 tablespoons of flour.

One thing that bechamel sauce cannot go without, nutmeg and salt.

And you’ll also need 2 cups of milk.

Melt the butter in the sauce pan, then add the flour and cook for a couple minutes, while constantly whisking.

Add the milk, nutmeg and salt and whisk everything together. Continue cooking for another 5 minutes and whisk as necessary.
