Oreo Cookie and Strawberry Parfait – turn boring pudding into an irresistible parfait.
I know that you normally deal with issues with cheating and lying husbands or I’m in love with two men type of issues, but mine is a bit different than that. I have a sweet tooth that I hope you can help me with. I love my sweets, I love puddings, and chocolate and fruits, and cakes, and ice cream and cream puffs, and macarons and cookies and brownies and crownies. The other day I wanted something sweet so bad I looked around the house and there was no chocolate, no ice cream and no cake.
So desperately I went to the pantry to see what could possibly be there that I had missed. Behold my lucky stars when I saw this Oreo cookie pudding. I squealed with delight. Oh what to do with this pudding, because we can’t just have plain pudding.
We need to give this pudding another dimension, we need to give it more pizzazz we need to turn it into a delicious and irresistible dessert. So frantically I started looking for some baking chocolate in the pantry, I know I always have that on hand, and quickly looked in the fridge and noticed some strawberries just begging to be eaten. A light went on in my head, it was an epiphany.
A parfait I thought. And not just any old boring parfait, but an Oreo cookie and strawberry parfait. And if that’s not enough, top it with some whip cream and shave some delicious milk chocolate over it. Yes, I thought. That was going to take care of my sweet tooth. Yes, this parfait was going to get me through to my next craving.
Help me dear Abby, help me overcome these sweet cravings. I’ve tried and tried but somehow I always make these irresistible desserts that I know even you Abby would have a hard time saying no to and just to see if you, yourself can resist this, I’m including the recipe to this outrageous, but delicious parfait.
Looking forward to your reply.
