Cinco de Mayo

Here's a little bit of history for you: Cinco De Mayo is the day the Mexican Army defeated the French in 1862. Since then May 5th has been celebrated across the country! I like to celebrate it up in snowy Canada with some home made dishes inspired by the Mexican spirit and spice.

These recipes include creamy Guacamole, Chile Con Queso, and Queso Dip. Not convinced yet? Well then why not try my Mexican Street Corn Salad or my Homemade Salsa? The list goes on and on in regards to dishes packed with flavor and fun. Wash it all down with a Strawberry Margarita to really get into that festive spirit, and because why not?
