Homemade Nutella Frappuccino – the be-all end-all of desserts! The Holy Grail of Frappuccinos!

Close up shot of a Homemade Nutella Frappuccino topped with whipped cream and caramel sauce

Nutella and I have a very close relationship. We’ve been together for a very long time, don’t want to say exactly how many years because then you’ll know my age, but let’s just say since I was a kid. My husband also has a very tight relationship with Nutella. As a matter of fact, he thinks Nutella is medicine. He has a teaspoon of Nutella after every meal. You know the saying an apple a day keeps the doctor away, well in our household it’s a teaspoon of Nutella a day keeps the doctor away.

I’m not getting paid for this Nutella promotion, and heck I’m not even promoting Nutella, if nobody buys it that just means more Nutella for me. Because we buy a lot of it. At any given time you can find at least 3 big 750 ml jars of Nutella in our house. No lie! We buy it in bulk at Costco. It’s the only thing we buy in bulk at Costco, besides toilet paper and paper towels. It’s the main reason we have a Costco membership.

Don’t knock Nutella as far as health is concerned. Nutella supplies a good amount of key vitamins and minerals that you need for good health. The hazelnuts in Nutella might also boost the health of your heart, making it a fairly nutritious food to occasionally incorporate into your healthy eating plan. You see what I mean? There is logic to this madness of mine.

But let’s focus on this Nutella Frappuccino for a bit. All I can say is O.M.G.!!!!!

Seriously! To tell you the truth I’m not a big Starbucks fan so I hardly ever order frappuccinos, or machiatos. I don’t even like the coffee there, because it’s too strong, if anything I’ll always get a latte. Although I hardly ever order frappuccinos I do love them, mostly because it really isn’t coffee to me. It’s more of a dessert if you ask me. And that’s what this Nutella Frappuccino is to me, the be-all end-all of desserts.

This is it right here, this is all you need. This here is the Holy Grail of frappuccinos! I dare you my friends to give this a try and tell me what you think. Don’t worry about the calories, indulge!

Thanks for the recipe! Our mixer is kind of old and it doesn’t crush ice well, so we replaced the ice with ice cream (vanilla for me, chocolate for my sis, and we cut out the sugar), It was delicious!
