Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • ¼ cup tomato sauce
  • ¼ cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 8 medium corn tortillas or flour tortillas

Optional Toppings

  • 1 cup Mexican cheese blend shredded
  • 1 avocado chopped
  • pico de gallo
  • romaine lettuce or iceberg, shredded

Instructions

  • Cook Beef: Add the ground beef to a large skillet and cook over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain any fat if necessary. Add the garlic and cook for another 30 seconds until aromatic.
  • Add Ingredients: Stir in the tomato sauce, chicken broth and taco seasoning. Bring to a simmer and let it cook for another 5 minutes until most of the liquid has evaporated.
  • Assemble & Serve: Assemble tacos by filling them with meat and desired tacos.
