Bacon and Cheese Pirogies

If you love pirogies, you'll love these Bacon and Cheese Pirogies. They're super simple to make, fabulous and dinner in 15 minutes.

  • 24 pirogies bacon and cheese
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 6 slices bacon cut into small pieces
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 2 tbsp chives for garnish
  • 2 tbsp sour cream optional


  • Boil perogies according to package instructions.
  • In a skillet add onion and bacon and saute until the bacon is fried and the onion is translucent and a a bit brown in color.
  • To plate, place perogies on a plate, sprinkle with onion and bacon mixture, grate some Parmesan cheese over and garnish with chives.
  • Serve with sour cream if desired.
