Margherita Pizza – enjoy a healthier pizza without the guilt.
- 1/3 recipe pizza dough
- 5 cocktail tomatoes sliced thin
- 8 ounce mozzarella cheese sliced or shredded
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 clove garlic
- fresh basil
- pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 500 F degrees.
Roll out the dough and arrange it on a pizza tray. Brush with the olive oil and sprinkle the garlic slices over it.
Top with the sliced tomatoes, mozzarella cheese and ground pepper.
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until nice and golden brown.
Top with fresh basil.
