Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops boneless, ¾-1" thick
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon pepper freshly ground, or to taste

Instructions

  • Prep: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. Brush the pork chops with the olive oil on all sides.
  • Season: Whisk the Parmesan cheese with the rest of the ingredients in a bowl. Dredge each pork chop through the Parmesan mixture.
  • Cook: Place the pork chops in the air fryer. Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through. Check the internal temperature of the pork chops. When they reach 145°F, they are cooked through.
  • Rest: Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  1. Worried about underdone pork? Let the chops warm up at room temperature for 20-30 minutes before cooking.
  2. Grab smoked paprika! It may be tempting to use the regular paprika already in your pantry.
  3. Make sure the pork chops fit nicely in the air fryer - no stacking. If your air fryer is small, you can cook in batches.
  4. Remember to flip the chops halfway through the cooking process for a beautiful sear on both sides.
  5. Get yourself an instant-read digital thermometer to take the temperature of the pork.
  6. Let the pork rest for 3-5 minutes before digging in.
  7. Transfer the leftover pork chops to an airtight container and store in the fridge for 3-4 days.
  8. You can also store the cooked pork in the freezer for 2-6 months. Make sure the pork has fully cooled down to room temperature before storing.
