Ingredients

  • ½ cup buttermilk powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 2 teaspoon dried chives
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  • Combine ingredients: Whisk all the ingredients together in a bowl. Store in an airtight container up to 6 months.

Notes

  1. Recipe yields 12 tablespoons or 3/4 cup.
  2. Try adding your homemade ranch dressing mix to a dredge when making chicken, pork or fish. Use it as a seasoning on popcorn or roasted veggies (potatoes are my favorite) or you could even add it to some butter and brush it over a baguette for a unique twist on garlic bread!
  3. Store in an airtight container or jar for up to 6 months.
  4. To make ranch dressing, combine 3 tbsp ranch dressing mix, 1/4 cup mayonnaise, 1/2 cup sour cream and 1 cup milk. Whisk everything well together, refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving. If you would like to make it with buttermilk, you can use my recipe for ranch dressing with 3 tbsp of this dressing mix.
  5. To make ranch dip add 2 tbsp ranch dressing mix to a bowl along with 3/4 cup mayonnaise, 3/4 cup sour cream and 2 tsp lemon juice. Combine everything together, cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
