Ingredients

  • 4 ounces cream cheese at room temperature
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 8 ounces feta cheese
  • 10 ounces frozen spinach 1 package, thawed and drained

To serve

  • pita chips
  • baguette slices

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, garlic, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and onion powder. Mix until smooth.
  • Crumble the feta cheese into the mixing bowl and stir until well combined.
  • Add the thawed and drained spinach to the mixing bowl and stir until evenly distributed.
  • Transfer the mixture to a 9-inch baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly and the top is golden brown.
  • Remove the baking dish from the oven and let the dip cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Serve the baked feta and spinach dip hot with pita chips or baguette slices for dipping.

Notes

  1. Cheese Choices: While feta is the star, you can experiment by adding other cheeses such as ricotta for a different texture.
  2. Spinach Prep: If using frozen spinach, ensure it's fully thawed and excess water is squeezed out. Fresh spinach can also be sautéed briefly until wilted.
  3. Adjust Heat: Love a kick? Add some red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce to elevate the spice level.
  4. Dip Companions: This dip pairs wonderfully with toasted baguette slices, pita chips, tortilla chips, or a medley of fresh veggies.
  5. Storage: If you have leftovers (a rarity!), store them in an airtight container in the fridge. It can be reheated in the oven or microwave, but might need a splash of olive oil to revive its creamy consistency.
