Red Grapefruit and Basil Mimosas – these yummy and perfect mimosas are made with just 4 ingredients! Perfect for your next brunch or cocktail party.
Summer is almost here and I couldn’t be happier. BBQ parties and fruity cocktails, fun with friends and family, that’s what summer means to me. And I love my fruity cocktails, or any cocktails for that matter. This gorgeous red grapefruit mimosa is incredible and very adult!
If you’ve never had a mimosa before, you’re in for a treat. It’s usually composed of one part champagne and one part chilled citrus fruit juice. Very simple to make. However, my mimosa here packs a bit more champagne than juice and I added a touch of Triple Sec. I think if you make this for your mom on Mother’s Day for brunch, she would be very happy with you, so spoil your mom, make her day!
I added some basil to my red grapefruit mimosa and I’m glad I did because it made the mimosa a bit more aromatic. I think mint would also work great here.

Red Grapefruit and Basil Mimosas
- 750 ml Prosecco (1 bottle) or any sparkling white wine or Champagne
- 2 cups pink grapefruit juice
- 3 tbsp Triple Sec
- 1/4 cup basil chopped
- Mix all ingredients together in a pitcher and pour into chilled glasses.
- Garnish with a red grapefruit slices.
