Toppings & additions!

Tacos really are a dish you can get creative with, there is no limit to what you can fill your taco with; unless you’re talking about practicality and then you might want to consider adding enough toppings for flavor but not so many that the taco explodes! Here is a list of some great taco toppings:

  • Jalapenos
  • Sour Cream
  • Pickled Red Onions
  • Black or Pinto Beans
  • Corn
  • Bell peppers
  • Lime
  • Cilantro
  • Tomato
  • Salsa
  • Green Onion
  • Mango
  • Olives
  • Chimichurri Sauce

Serve it with style

Tacos, in my opinion are the perfect meal for any occasion, but I especially love making them when I’m serving a crowd. Everyone can assemble their own tacos the way they like, therefore everyone is happy! Some great options to pair with your tacos:

  • Black Bean Corn and Avocado Salad
  • Avocado Shrimp Salsa
  • Mexican Street Corn Salad
  • Cheesy Guacamole
  • Tex Mex Potato Salad
  • 3 Ingredient Mexican Rice

How to store leftovers

Your leftover ground beef will last for 3-4 days in the fridge stored in an airtight container. You can enjoy the leftover beef cold or reheat in the microwave or skillet for future tacos! Another option? You can use that leftover ground beef to make my cheesy taco pasta!

Freezing

Cooked ground beef will last 2-3 months frozen. Let it thaw overnight in the fridge before reheating.
