Try this Mango Lemonade recipe for a fruity, citrusy, and refreshing drink. Perfect for bringing you sunshine any time of the year! Made with sugar, water, lemon, and mangoes. You are mere moments away from sipping this dangerously easy drink!

What’s the point of buying juice when it tastes so much better homemade? Especially a recipe like this with only 4 ingredients. Now this is the only time you can truly trust that what you’re drinking isn’t made from concentrate.

I for one love lemonades, though I don’t make them often. But this mango lemonade is even better than your usual lemonade. So next time life throws you mangos and lemons, make mango lemonade. For an adult version, throw in some rum and it’s fiesta time!

How to make mango lemonade

  1. Make the syrup: Add the sugar and 1 cup of water to a saucepan, Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring often, just until the sugar dissolves. Remove the pan from the heat and let the syrup cool fully.
  2. Blend: Add the mango and 3 cups of water to a blender. Blend until smooth. Pour the mixture into a pitcher through a fine strainer or sieve.
  3. Finish: Add the remaining 3 cups of water, lemon juice, and prepared syrup to the pitcher and stir. You can add ice to the pitcher or pour the mango lemonade over cups of ice to avoid having it dilute.

More delicious flavors you can add

If you’re short on mangoes or thinking of adding some different fruits to complement the mango and lemon, I have some great ideas. Blend these fruits with the mango:

  • Strawberries or raspberries
  • Pineapple
  • Peaches
  • Pomegranate
  • Watermelon
  • Kiwi

Want to add some antioxidants? Blend the fruits up with green tea instead of water! You can also use lime juice instead of lemon juice to make an out-of-this-world mango limeade.

What to serve with your mango lemonade

When I take a dip of this bright drink, I think of a warm summer day. Picnics and BBQs come to mind! Here are my favorite recipes for warmth or at least reminding you of sunnier days:

  • Perfect Pulled Pork
  • Instant Pot BBQ Pork Ribs
  • Beer Can Chicken
  • Oven Baked Beef Brisket
  • Chicken Ranch Pasta Salad
  • Mexican Street Corn Salad
  • Easy Coleslaw Recipe
  • Black Bean Corn and Avocado Salad

Make it a cocktail!

Turn this easy drink recipe into a cocktail with a shot of light rum or vodka into each glass before filling it with lemonade!

Leftovers/Storing

Your mango lemonade will keep for 5-7 days. If you plan on having leftovers, I would make it in a pitcher that comes with a lid. If you don’t have a lid, wrap the top well with plastic wrap. Make sure to give your leftover lemonade a good stir before serving!
