Mango Lassi

Mango Lassi – Beat the heat with this delectable smoothie. It tastes rich and indulgent but is actually healthy and low fat!


Happy Valentine’s Day my friends! I hope you’re all enjoying this special day with that special someone you love. 😉 You know what would be perfect for this day, is my sex in a pan dessert.

But today I’m sharing a mango lassi recipe that we make often here and we love.

To this day I remember the first time I went to an Indian restaurant and had my first mango lassi. I had never had one before and thought it was fabulous. Since then I’ve learned to make it myself and it’s one of those smoothie type drinks that my family loves.

I do have a tip for you, if you do have left over mangoes that are not being eaten, just peal them, chop them up in small pieces, and freeze them in an air tight container, so then when you’re ready to make a smoothie, just take the frozen mangoes out, put them in the blender and voila!

  • 2 mangos, sliced
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup milk
  • ¼ tsp ground cardamom
  1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
